Sharon “Cookie” Cutrer has announced that she will retire as Laboratory Manager of Hood Memorial Hospital effective July 30, 2019.
“I would like to personally thank Cookie for her years of service and support to HMH. Her long-lasting commitment has certainly aided in the progression of our Hospital,” shares Hood Memorial Hospital CEO, Michael Whittington.
Cutrer’s retirement marks the end of an era for Hood Memorial Hospital as she has been an integral part of the hospital for the past 39 years. Her contributions will always be valued and remembered, and her hard work, dedication, and commitment are traits worthy of admiration.
Cutrer observes, “It has truly been an honor to work for Hood Memorial Hospital for the last 39 years. I have had the privilege of working with some amazing people, but the best part of my job has been getting to know so many people in the community. Having the opportunity to work in my hometown was quite the privilege. I will miss my coworkers and patients, but I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life.”
“On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, I want to thank Cookie for her almost four decades of service and commitment to Hood Memorial Hospital. We wish her the best and are forever indebted for her dedication, enthusiasm and leadership”, states Hood Memorial Hospital’s Chairman of the Board Charles “Mose” Guzzardo.
