a. Canvass Election Returns

1. A Resolution providing for canvassing the returns and declaring the result of the special election held in Hospital Service District No. 2 of the Parish of Tangipahoa, State of Louisiana (the “District”), on Saturday, December 11, 2021, to authorize the renewal of a five (5.0) mills tax on assessed valuation of all property subject to taxation in the District, for a period of ten (10) years for the purpose of paying the costs of constructing, acquiring, improving, maintaining, operating hospital facilities of the District and any other lawful purposes of the District; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.

2. PROCES VERBAL OF THE CANVASS OF THE VOTES CAST AT THE ELECTION HELD IN HOSPITAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 2 OF THE PARISH OF TANGIPAHOA, STATE OF LOUISIANA ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021.

3. A Resolution directing the renewal of the levy and collection of an ad valorem tax of five (5.0) mills tax on assessed valuation of all property subject to taxation within the geographic boundaries of Hospital Service District No. 2 of the Parish of Tangipahoa, State of Louisiana, for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2022 and ending with the year 2031, authorized under the provisions of Chapter 10 of Title 46 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended (specifically La. R.S. 46:1065), Article VI, Section 32 of the Constitution of the State of Louisiana of 1974, as amended and other constitutional and statutory authority as applicable, for the purpose of paying the costs of constructing, acquiring, improving, maintaining, operating hospital facilities of the District and any other lawful purposes of the District; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.
